Postdoctoral position
A postdoctoral position is available starting immediately, in the field of
Bioinformatics & Computational Biology, at the Dept. of Biology, McGill
University, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (http://www.biology.mcgill.ca). The
specific project entails bioinformatic analysis relating to annotation of
plant genomes.
The research will be performed under the supervision of Prof. P. Harrison,
Dept. of Biology, McGill University. The project is for two years, and

Previous experience in bioinformatic research is highly desirable.
Specifically, programming skills (particularly in C, C++, Perl or Java),
and experience of the bioinformatic analysis of evolution are desirable.
Applicants should have, or expect to obtain, a Ph.D.
