Chilibot searches the PubMed literature database based on specific relationships between proteins, genes, or keywords. The results are returned as a graph.
The Comprehensive Microbial Resource (CMR) gives access to a central repository of the sequence and annotation of all complete public prokaryotic genomes as well as comparative genomics tools across all of the genomes in the database.
The Database of Interacting Proteins (DIP) allows users to search for interacting proteins. Results lists can be searched and/or visualized (statically or dynamically). Users can submit new protein-protein interactions and update database entries.
It goes to the library. You go to the pub; receive email alerts for current contents of PubMed and GenBank; e.g. use accession number of htg record as query to receive sequence updates (as the version number changes).
